Almost Finished . . .

The last sculpures in the Botanic Gardens have been cast in time before winter arrives.

The End of the Line

And so we reached the end of the line where O Rio Mondego, the carrier of life, empties into the Atlantic Ocean.

"I went to fill the water jar but I bring it

As empty as I took it,

Mondego where's your water,

Where are the tears I wept?" **

O Rio Mondego

And so my journey to follow the Mondego River has begun.  O Rio Dinha, O Rio Asnes and O Rio Dao are tributary rivers to the Mondego where vinyards can be found in abundance.
